Two things—if blood were wept over them
By your eyes, until they warned of their own passing,
لَمnot يَبلُغاthey both attain المِعشارَa tenth مِنof حَقَّيهِماtheir respective dues
فَقدُloss الشَبابِyouth وَفُرقَةُand separation الأَحبابِloved ones
Those eyes would not have paid a tenth of their due:
The loss of youth and parting from loved ones.
