يا أَيُّها الطالِبُ مِن مِثلِهِ

يا أَيُّها الطالِبُ مِن مِثلِهِ

رِزقاً لَهُ جُرتَ عَنِ الحِكمَه

رِزقاً لَهُ جُرتَ عَنِ الحِكمَه

O you who seek from one like yourself

Oh seeker from the like of him

Sustenance for yourself—you have strayed from wisdom.

Provision for him you have diverted from wisdom

لا تَطلُبِ الرِزقَ إِلى طالِبٍ

لا تَطلُبِ الرِزقَ إِلى طالِبٍ

مِثلكَ مُحتاج إِلى الرَحَمَه

مِثلكَ مُحتاج إِلى الرَحَمَه

Do not seek sustenance from a seeker

Do not seek provision from a seeker

Like yourself, in need of mercy.

Like you needing mercy

وَاِرغَب إِلى اللَهِ الَّذي لَم يَزَل

وَاِرغَب إِلى اللَهِ الَّذي لَم يَزَل

في يَدِهِ النِعمَةُ وَالنقمَه

في يَدِهِ النِعمَةُ وَالنقمَه

And turn in hope to God, who has always held

And turn to God who has never ceased to be

Blessing and retribution in His hand.

In His hand blessing and vengeance
