سَأَمنَحُ مالي كُلَّ مَن جاءَ عافِياً

سَأَمنَحُ مالي كُلَّ مَن جاءَ عافِياً

وَأَجعَلُهُ وَقفاً عَلى القَرضِ وَالفَرضِ

وَأَجعَلُهُ وَقفاً عَلى القَرضِ وَالفَرضِ

I shall give my wealth to everyone who comes seeking a gift,

I will give my wealth to all who come in good health

And set it aside for loans and grants.

And make it an endowment for loans and debts

فَإِمّا كَريمٌ صُنتُ بِالجودِ عِرضَهُ

فَإِمّا كَريمٌ صُنتُ بِالجودِ عِرضَهُ

وَإِمّا لَئيمٌ صُنتُ عَن لُؤمِهِ عِرضي

وَإِمّا لَئيمٌ صُنتُ عَن لُؤمِهِ عِرضي

For if he is noble, I have safeguarded his honor through generosity;

So either a generous man whose honor I've guarded with charity

And if he is base, I have safeguarded my honor from his baseness.

Or a vile man whose dishonor I've warded off from my own
