اُصدُق حَديثَكَ إِنَّ في الصد

اُصدُق حَديثَكَ إِنَّ في الصد

صِدقِ الخَلاصَ مِنَ الدَنَس

صِدقِ الخَلاصَ مِنَ الدَنَس

Be truthful in your speech, for in truthfulness

I speak the truth in what I say

lies deliverance from defilement.

For in truthfulness lies salvation from disgrace

وَدَعِ الكَذوبَ لِشَأنِهِ

وَدَعِ الكَذوبَ لِشَأنِهِ

خَيرٌ مِنَ الكَذِبِ الخَرَس

خَيرٌ مِنَ الكَذِبِ الخَرَس

And leave the habitual liar to his own affairs;

Leave lies be

muteness is better than lying.

Silence is better than a lying tongue
