    And when I knew the matter to be manifest through concealment,

    I became certain that the noon prayer veils the afternoon prayer.

    مع الطهر كان العصر بالظهر ظاهرا

    And I purified a noon prayer inwardly through dry ablution;

    with purification, the afternoon prayer was manifest through the noon prayer.

    And whoever veiled the noon and afternoon prayers prayed at sunset

    a night prayer, with daybreak afterward watching for you.

    So take it as the prayer of those who know, with its purification—

    its visible aspect and the unseen—if you are present.

    Otherwise, accept it, and beware of denying it.

    Have you not yet learned that the matter is manifest through concealment?
