أُهَنِّيك يا ابن الأكرمين الأطايب

أُهَنِّيك يا ابن الأكرمين الأطايب

ونجلَ الملوك الشُّمِّ أهلِ الرغايبِ

ونجلَ الملوك الشُّمِّ أهلِ الرغايبِ

I congratulate you, O son of the noblest and most virtuous,

I congratulate you, son of the most generous and purest,

and scion of lofty kings, men of generous bounty,

And descendant of kings, sun of those who seek glory,

بعودةِ عيد الفطر لا زالَ عائداً

بعودةِ عيد الفطر لا زالَ عائداً

عليك بتيسير الغِنَى والمواهِبِ

عليك بتيسير الغِنَى والمواهِبِ

on the return of Eid al-Fitr—may it ever return

On the return of Eid al-Fitr, still coming back,

to you, bringing wealth and gifts with ease.

Bestowing you with wealth and gifts.

ويُهَنِّي جميع الناسِ أنك سالمٌ

ويُهَنِّي جميع الناسِ أنك سالمٌ

وتَهْنَى بما أُوتيته مِن مناقِبِ

وتَهْنَى بما أُوتيته مِن مناقِبِ

And it gladdens all people that you are safe,

And all people congratulate that you are safe,

and may you rejoice in the virtues you have been granted.

And you are blessed with what you were given of merits.

ولا زلتَ محروس الجَنَابِ مُظفراً

ولا زلتَ محروس الجَنَابِ مُظفراً

على كل مَن عاداك من كل جانِبِ

على كل مَن عاداك من كل جانِبِ

And may your person ever be guarded, and you be victorious

You still remain protected and victorious,

over all who oppose you, from every side.

Over all who opposed you from every side.

ولا زالَ يَقْلُوكَ من كل وجهةٍ

ولا زالَ يَقْلُوكَ من كل وجهةٍ

وكل كنودٍ في أَجَلِّ المصايبِ

وكل كنودٍ في أَجَلِّ المصايبِ

And may those who hate you from every quarter remain—

And you are still cherished from every perspective,

and every ingrate—in the gravest calamities.

And every bosom friend in the most dire calamities.

ولا زلتَ رِدْءً للمعالي وناصِراً

ولا زلتَ رِدْءً للمعالي وناصِراً

وشَهْداً لمسلوبٍ وسُمّاً لسالِبِ

وشَهْداً لمسلوبٍ وسُمّاً لسالِبِ

And may you ever be a support to noble deeds and a champion,

You still remain a shield for the sublime and a supporter,

and honey to the robbed and poison to the robber.

And a honey for the dispossessed and a poison for the usurper.

عدوُّك مغمومٌ وشانيكَ هالِكٌ

عدوُّك مغمومٌ وشانيكَ هالِكٌ

وضِدُّكَ مخذولٌ بصفقة خائِبٍ

وضِدُّكَ مخذولٌ بصفقة خائِبٍ

Your enemy is grief-stricken, and your hater is doomed,

Your enemy is gloomy and your hater is ruined,

and your adversary is forsaken, with a loser's bargain.

And your foe is abandoned with the bargain of the disappointed.

فإنك سيفٌ يا ابنَ سلطانِ سيفِنا

فإنك سيفٌ يا ابنَ سلطانِ سيفِنا

وجدُّكَ سيفُ أنت سيف القَوَاضِبٍ

وجدُّكَ سيفُ أنت سيف القَوَاضِبٍ

For indeed you are a sword, O son of Sultan, our Saif,

For you are a sword, O son of the sultan of our swords,

and your grandfather is Saif; you are the sword of keen blades.

And your grandfather is a sword, you are the sword of conquerors.

وعدلُك مشهودٌ وسعدُك طالعٌ

وعدلُك مشهودٌ وسعدُك طالعٌ

وبأسُك مذكورٌ على كل غالِبِ

وبأسُك مذكورٌ على كل غالِبِ

And your justice is attested, and your good fortune rises,

Your justice is witnessed and your bliss is rising,

and your might is renowned above that of every victor.

And your might is mentioned by every victor.

وسعيُكَ مشكورٌ وقلبك ثابِتٌ

وسعيُكَ مشكورٌ وقلبك ثابِتٌ

وكسبُكَ في العَلْيَاءِ خير المكاسِبِ

وكسبُكَ في العَلْيَاءِ خير المكاسِبِ

And your efforts are appreciated, and your heart is steadfast,

Your effort is appreciated and your heart is steadfast,

and your gains in lofty honor are the finest of gains.

And your gain is the best of gains in loftiness.

وبيتك مصمودٌ وجدُّك ساطعٌ

وبيتك مصمودٌ وجدُّك ساطعٌ

ونيلُك فينا كالسَّحاب السواكِبِ

ونيلُك فينا كالسَّحاب السواكِبِ

And your house is sought out, and your good fortune shines,

Your house is fortified and your grandfather is shining,

and your bounty among us is like clouds pouring rain.

And reaching you is like stars of flowing rain.

أنا اليومَ منكم في رخاءِ ونعمَةٍ

أنا اليومَ منكم في رخاءِ ونعمَةٍ

وأطيبِ عيشٍ في أَجَلِّ المراتِبٍ

وأطيبِ عيشٍ في أَجَلِّ المراتِبٍ

Today, through you, I enjoy prosperity and blessing,

Today I am among you in prosperity and bounty,

and the sweetest life, in the highest ranks.

And the most delightful living in the highest positions.

وأخدُمُكم ما دمت حيّاً مُجاهِداً

وأخدُمُكم ما دمت حيّاً مُجاهِداً

بقلبٍ صحيحِ خالصٍ غير ناكِبِ

بقلبٍ صحيحِ خالصٍ غير ناكِبِ

And I shall serve you as long as I live, striving

And I serve you as long as I live striving,

with a sound, sincere heart, never turning aside.

With a sound and pure heart, not bent.

فعيشوا بخيرٍ في نعيمِ ولَذّةٍ

فعيشوا بخيرٍ في نعيمِ ولَذّةٍ

ومُلْكٍ أَثيلٍ ثابِتٍ غير عازِبِ

ومُلْكٍ أَثيلٍ ثابِتٍ غير عازِبِ

So live in well-being, in bliss and pleasure,

So live well in bliss and pleasure,

and in deep-rooted, steadfast sovereignty that never passes away.

And everlasting kingdom, steady, not fleeting.

وصلّى على خير الأنامِ محمدٍ

وصلّى على خير الأنامِ محمدٍ

إلهُ البرايا ما هَمَى كل كاسِبِ

إلهُ البرايا ما هَمَى كل كاسِبِ

And may Muhammad, the best of all beings, be blessed

And pray upon the best of people Muhammad,

by the God of all creatures, as long as every earner pours forth.

God of the lands, as long as each striver strives.
