مَعاقِلُنا الَّتي نَأوي إِلَيها

مَعاقِلُنا الَّتي نَأوي إِلَيها

بَناتُ الأَعوَجِيَّةِ لا السُيوفُ

بَناتُ الأَعوَجِيَّةِ لا السُيوفُ

Our strongholds, to which we turn for refuge,

Our fortresses to which we retreat

are the daughters of al-Aʿwajiyya, not swords.
