Sol 6.1

  1. وفي ضِبْنِ حِقفٍ يراجعنه

    خطافِ وسرحةُ والأحدلُ

    And in the flank of a curving dune they keep returning to him—

    Khataf, Sarhah, and al-Ahdal,

  2. وأربعة كِقداح السَّرا

    ء لا عانيات ولا عُبَّلُ

    And four like arrow shafts of sarāʾ wood,

    Neither weary nor thickset.
