ومن عِضةٍ من آجر فانبتَّم

ومن عِضةٍ من آجر فانبتَّم

نضاراً عيصه الأشب النضيرُ

نضاراً عيصه الأشب النضيرُ

And from a thorn tree of Hagar you sprang,

And from a bite of clay bricks sprouted,

As choice wood, its thicket dense and verdant.

Freshly, their moist dark green shoots.
