أصبح القومُ كلُّهم شُعراء

أصبح القومُ كلُّهم شُعراء

من نساء أو صبية أَو رجالِ

All the people have become poets,

Women, boys, and men alike

لا أُغالي بما أَقول إِذا هُمْ

قنعوا مِن حياتهم بالخيالِ

قنعوا مِن حياتهم بالخيالِ

I do not exaggerate in what I say, if they

I do not exaggerate when I say

have settled for imagination in their lives.

They are content to live in fantasy
