بَدر العُلى عودَهُ يُحيي القُلوبِ كَما

بَدر العُلى عودَهُ يُحيي القُلوبِ كَما

مِن وَعدِهِ لِلمَلا يَستَحصل الأَرَبُ

مِن وَعدِهِ لِلمَلا يَستَحصل الأَرَبُ

The full moon of eminence—his return revives hearts, just as

The full moon of Ulaa, its return revives hearts,

from his promise to the people, desire is fulfilled.

As does his promise to the refuge obtain profit.

فَقُمتُ أَحمدُ يَوماً أَرخوهُ بِهِ

فَقُمتُ أَحمدُ يَوماً أَرخوهُ بِهِ

عادَ الحُسينُ فَعادَ الخَيرُ وَالأَدَبُ

عادَ الحُسينُ فَعادَ الخَيرُ وَالأَدَبُ

So I rose to praise a day they dated with these words:

So I praised Ahmad one day and memorialized it,

Husayn returned, and goodness and refinement returned.

Al-Husayn has returned, so goodness and refinement have returned.
