قَد هَلَّ مَولود السَعادَةِ بِالصَفا

قَد هَلَّ مَولود السَعادَةِ بِالصَفا

يُحيي الفُؤاد بِثَغرِهِ البَسّامِ

يُحيي الفُؤاد بِثَغرِهِ البَسّامِ

Indeed, the newborn of happiness has dawned amid serenity.

The harbinger of joy has risen in serenity

He revives the heart with his ever-smiling lips.

Reviving hearts with his smiling lips

فَهَتفتُ لَما لاحَ ارّخ نورهُ

فَهَتفتُ لَما لاحَ ارّخ نورهُ

في الأُفقِ ضاءَ لَنا شِهابٌ سامي

في الأُفقِ ضاءَ لَنا شِهابٌ سامي

So when he appeared, I cried: “Record the date of his light:

When his radiant light appeared on the horizon

On the horizon, a lofty shooting star shone for us.”

I exclaimed, an eminent star has risen for us
