النِّيلُ وَالْمَلِكُ المُنِيلُ كِلاَهُمَا

بَحْرٌ يَفِيضُ بِسَابِغِ الْبَرَكَاتِ

بَحْرٌ يَفِيضُ بِسَابِغِ الْبَرَكَاتِ

The Nile and the bountiful king—each of them

The Nile and the generous king, both

Is a sea overflowing with abundant blessings.

Are seas overflowing with abundant blessings.

أَذْكَى العُقُولِ يَسُوسُ أَذْكى تُرْبَةٍ

أَذْكَى العُقُولِ يَسُوسُ أَذْكى تُرْبَةٍ

فَيُرِيكَ مُعْجِزَتَيْنِ فِي الإِنْبَاتِ

فَيُرِيكَ مُعْجِزَتَيْنِ فِي الإِنْبَاتِ

The keenest of minds governs the most fertile soil,

The most brilliant mind governs the most fertile soil

And so shows you two miracles in bringing forth growth.

And reveals to you two miracles in growth.
