إنْ كَانَ فِي لُبْنَانَ نَالَكَ عَارِضٌ

إنْ كَانَ فِي لُبْنَانَ نَالَكَ عَارِضٌ

فَاسْرِعُ بِغَيْرِ تَرَدُّدٍ لِلْخَازِنِ

فَاسْرِعُ بِغَيْرِ تَرَدُّدٍ لِلْخَازِنِ

If an ailment befalls you in Lebanon,

If in Lebanon you met misfortune

then hasten without hesitation to al-Khazin.

Hasten without hesitation to the treasurer

تَجِدِ الشَّفَاءَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ عَجِلاً

تَجِدِ الشَّفَاءَ عَلَى يَدَيْهِ عَجِلاً

مِنْ غَيْرِ جَعْجَعَةٍ وَغَيْرِ تهَاوُنِ

مِنْ غَيْرِ جَعْجَعَةٍ وَغَيْرِ تهَاوُنِ

You will swiftly find healing at his hands,

You will find healing at his hands soon

without bluster and without neglect.

Without fuss or sluggishness

فَهْوَ الَّذِي فِي كَفِّهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ

فَهْوَ الَّذِي فِي كَفِّهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ

وَضْعُ الدَّوَاءِ لِكُلِّ دَاءِ بَاطِنِ

وَضْعُ الدَّوَاءِ لِكُلِّ دَاءِ بَاطِنِ

For he is the one whose hand is endowed by his Lord

For in his palm from his Lord

with the skill to administer medicine for every internal ailment.

Lies the remedy for every hidden malady
