دنيا الخلائق تنبري لفداء

I see a marvel—and perhaps the most wondrous thing seen:

I wonder and perhaps the most amazing sight,

The world of creatures comes forward for sacrifice,

Is that the world of all beings sacrifices itself

لماحة للغيب شاعرة به

لماحة للغيب شاعرة به

حتى ليحضرها الخفي النائي

حتى ليحضرها الخفي النائي

Keen-sighted into the unseen, aware of it,

For an inspiration from the unseen it contains,

So that what is hidden and far-off truly becomes present to it.

So that even the far and hidden may find it.

تلك الرواعي كل أخضر ناعم

تلك الرواعي كل أخضر ناعم

من كل ناعمة الخطى ملساء

من كل ناعمة الخطى ملساء

Those that graze on every tender green thing,

Those meadows, all soft and green,

All those smooth creatures of gentle tread—

Made smooth by the gentle step of everything gentle,

من بث فيها وهي تقني قزها

من بث فيها وهي تقني قزها

من بذلها أعمارها بسخاء

من بذلها أعمارها بسخاء

Who instilled in them, as they store up their silk

Whoever scattered seeds in it while it was spinning its yarn,

By giving their lives so generously,

Whoever gave it their lifetimes generously,

أن الذي تقضي شهيدة نسجه

أن الذي تقضي شهيدة نسجه

لك فيه سعد وامتداد بقاء

لك فيه سعد وامتداد بقاء

The knowledge that what they die as martyrs weaving

That the one whose martyr it becomes in weaving,

Holds happiness and a longer life for you?

In it for you is bliss and enduring existence.
