زَارَنِي صُبْحاً وَحَيَّى

بَاسِمٍ طَلقَ المُحَيا

بَاسِمٍ طَلقَ المُحَيا

قَالَ يَا بُشْراً فَقلْتَ البِشْـ

قَالَ قَدْ أَسْدَى عَزيزُ

قَالَ قَدْ أَسْدَى عَزيزُ

القطْرِ إِنْعاماً سنِيَّا

القطْرِ إِنْعاماً سنِيَّا

He said, 'There has been bestowed by the ruler

He said: The precious one from

of the land a splendid favor.

Qatar has bestowed favors for years to come

شَرَفُ الإِكْرَامِ مِنَّا

شَرَفُ الإِكْرَامِ مِنَّا

وَالأَجَلِّ الأَلمَعِيَّا

وَالأَجَلِّ الأَلمَعِيَّا

The honor of the tribute comes from us

Honoring others is characteristic of us

and the most august, keen-witted one.'

As is our most brilliant lineage

قلْت زَادَ اللهُ مَنْ تَعـ

قلْت زَادَ اللهُ مَنْ تَعـ

ـنِيهِ عِزاً وَرُقِيَّا

ـنِيهِ عِزاً وَرُقِيَّا

I said, 'May God increase the one you

ورَعَى الحُرَّ المُفَدى

ورَعَى الحُرَّ المُفَدى

وَرَعَى البِرَّ الوَفِيَّا

And protect the free and noble one

and watch over steadfast goodness,

And the loyal and righteous one

الَّذِي يَبتَكِرُ الفَخْرَ

الَّذِي يَبتَكِرُ الفَخْرَ

ابْتِكَاراً عَبْقَرِيَّا

ابْتِكَاراً عَبْقَرِيَّا

which creates glory anew

He who strives for excellence early

with the originality of genius,

With natural genius

يَلبَسُ الرِّفْعَة لبْساً

يَلبَسُ الرِّفْعَة لبْساً

حَسَبِيّاً نَسَبِيَّا

حَسَبِيّاً نَسَبِيَّا

wearing eminence in a manner

Wears nobility and pedigree

befitting ancestral honor and lineage.'

With pride and ancestry

يَا رِفَاقَ الخَيْرِ هَذَا

يَا رِفَاقَ الخَيْرِ هَذَا

نَبَأٌ سَرَّ وَأَحْيَا

نَبَأٌ سَرَّ وَأَحْيَا

O companions of goodness, this

O comrades of goodness, here is

is news that gladdened and gave new life.

News that delighted and revived

أَنْشِدُوا وَأَعْيُنُ تُحَيِّي

أَنْشِدُوا وَأَعْيُنُ تُحَيِّي

رُتْبَةَ المَجْدِ وَيَحْيَى

رُتْبَةَ المَجْدِ وَيَحْيَى

Sing, while eyes salute

Recite poetry while eyes greet

the rank of glory and Yahya.

And pay tribute to the rank of glory and life
