Most generosity springs from impulse, yet

doubt follows the paths of impulses.
Follows the paths of desires
وَبَدِيعٌand wondrous فِيin مَأْثَرَاتِكَyour noble deeds دَامَتْmay they endure
وَبَدِيعٌ فِي مَأْثَرَاتِكَ دَامَتْ
أَنَّهاthat they مِنْfrom وَلاَئِدِoffspring الآرَاءِideas
أَنَّها مِنْ وَلاَئِدِ الآرَاءِ
And what is wondrous in your noble deeds—may they endure—
Your great deeds will last
is that they are the offspring of ideas.

فَهْيَfor they تُغْنِيenrich مِنْfrom فَاقَةٍpoverty وَتُدَاوِيand heal
فَهْيَ تُغْنِي مِنْ فَاقَةٍ وَتُدَاوِي
مِنfrom سَقَامٍillness وَتَفْتَدِيand redeem مِنfrom عَنَاءِhardship
مِن سَقَامٍ وَتَفْتَدِي مِن عَنَاءِ
For they bring freedom from poverty and healing
Relieving poverty, curing illness
from illness, and redemption from hardship.
And freeing from distress
كَمْhow many نُفُوسٍsouls مَلَكْتَهُنَّyou won them بِنُعْمَىwith a kindness

Does anyone dwell in the dark core of every heart
Can sorrow reside in any heart
but one who has given generously with a white hand?
Other than those who did not give a helping hand?
وَحُلَىand ornaments العَقلِthe mind فِيكَin you شَتَّىvaried وَأَحْلاَand the sweetest
وَحُلَى العَقلِ فِيكَ شَتَّى وَأَحْلاَ
هَاof them لَدَىat الأَزْمَةِthe crisis ابتِدَارُpromptness الذَّكَاءِwit
هَا لَدَى الأَزْمَةِ ابتِدَارُ الذَّكَاءِ
And the mind's ornaments in you are manifold, and the sweetest
The adornments of your reason are manifold
of them, in a crisis, is the swiftness of wit.
Shining in times of crisis with quick wit
تَنْظُرُyou look النَّظرَةَthe glance البَعِيدَfar مَدَاهَاits reach
تَنْظُرُ النَّظرَةَ البَعِيدَ مَدَاهَا
فَتَرَىso you see مَاwhat بُكِنُّconceals (probable reading) قَلْبُthe heart الْخَفَاءِsecrecy
فَتَرَى مَا بُكِنُّ قَلْبُ الْخَفَاءِ
