  1. ألا يا أيها المولى ال

    لَذي يستعذَبُ الظّلما

    Ah, O master,

    who finds injustice sweet,

  2. كأنَّ الظلمَ لا يُكس

    بُ من يكسبُهُ إثما

    as though injustice does not bring

    sin upon whoever commits it.

  3. أما تَرحمُ قلبي في

    كَ من حسرتهِ يَدمي

    Will you not pity my heart, which for

    you bleeds from its anguish?

  4. متى يعدلُ في الحكمِ

    ظلومٌ ملكَ الحُكما

    When will justice be done in judgment

    by a tyrant who holds power?
