اِبعَث لَهُ مِنَ الرُتَيلى سَقَما

اِبعَث لَهُ مِنَ الرُتَيلى سَقَما

مَذبوبَةً تَبعَثُ فيهِ أَلَما

مَذبوبَةً تَبعَثُ فيهِ أَلَما

Send him sickness from the tarantula—

Send him from the riders an illness

a fly-harried creature that stirs pain within him.

Melting, bringing pain within

يَظَلُّ مِنهُ لَحمُهُ مُقَسَّما

يَظَلُّ مِنهُ لَحمُهُ مُقَسَّما

دَهماءَ مِثَلَ العَنكبوتِ أَيِّما

دَهماءَ مِثَلَ العَنكبوتِ أَيِّما

His flesh remains torn apart by it:

His flesh remains divided

a dark, widowed creature, like a spider,

Dark like a spider's home

لَم تُبقِ بَعلاً لا وَلَم تُبقِ إِماءَ

لَم تُبقِ بَعلاً لا وَلَم تُبقِ إِماءَ

جَزاءَ خَطّابٍ بِما تَأَثَّما

جَزاءَ خَطّابٍ بِما تَأَثَّما

that spared no husband—no, nor any slave women—

You left no husband, nor maid

as recompense for Khattab for the sin he committed.
