إِنif كُنتَyou are جُلمودَa boulder بِصرٍwhite stone لاnot أُؤَبِّسُهُI subdue it
إِن كُنتَ جُلمودَ بِصرٍ لا أُؤَبِّسُهُ
أوقِدI kindle fire عَلَيهِupon it فَأَحميهِthen I heat it فَيَنصَدِعُthen it splits
أوقِد عَلَيهِ فَأَحميهِ فَيَنصَدِعُ
If you are a boulder of white stone that I cannot subdue,
If you are hard of sight, that I do not melt,
I will kindle fire upon it and heat it, and it will split.
Kindle a fire upon it, that I may burn and crack.
