أَحْضَرَنَا النَّاطُورُ مِنْ بُسْتَانِهِ

أَحْضَرَنَا النَّاطُورُ مِنْ بُسْتَانِهِ

فِي طَبَقٍ يَنْطِقُ عَنْ إِحْسَانِهِ

فِي طَبَقٍ يَنْطِقُ عَنْ إِحْسَانِهِ

The orchard keeper brought us from his orchard

The gardener brought from his garden

on a platter that spoke of his kindness,

In a dish speaking of his kindness

لَوْنَاً مِنَ الرَّائِعِ فِي رُمَّانِهِ

لَوْنَاً مِنَ الرَّائِعِ فِي رُمَّانِهِ

أَهْدَى لَهُ الجَوْهَرُ مِنْ أَلْوَانِهِ

أَهْدَى لَهُ الجَوْهَرُ مِنْ أَلْوَانِهِ

a splendid variety from among his pomegranates.

A color of the magnificent in his pomegranate

Gems bestowed on it some of their colors:

The essence gifted to it from its colors

مَا احْمَرَّ وَاصْفَرَّ وَمِنْ مَرْجَانِهِ

مَا احْمَرَّ وَاصْفَرَّ وَمِنْ مَرْجَانِهِ

مِثْلَ نُزُولِ الجَيْشِ فِي مَيْدَانِهِ

مِثْلَ نُزُولِ الجَيْشِ فِي مَيْدَانِهِ

the red and the yellow, and some of their coral.

That which reddened, yellowed, and from its coral

Like an army encamping on its battlefield,

Like the descent of an army in its battlefield

مُذْهَبَةً فِي الْهَامِ مِنْ فُرْسَانِهِ

مُذْهَبَةً فِي الْهَامِ مِنْ فُرْسَانِهِ

شِيْبَ بِرِيْقِ الشَّهْدِ فِي أَغْصَانِهِ

شِيْبَ بِرِيْقِ الشَّهْدِ فِي أَغْصَانِهِ

gilded upon the heads of its horsemen,

Golden in the mind from its horsemen

mingled with honey's nectar on its branches,

White with the sheen of honey in its branches

أَنْوَرُ فِي النَّاظِرِ مِنْ إِنْسَانِهِ

أَنْوَرُ فِي النَّاظِرِ مِنْ إِنْسَانِهِ

more radiant in the eye than its pupil.

More luminous in the viewer than its human
