من خطأِ النّاقِصِ والزَّائِدْ

Balanced in its parts, it has been freed

والضربُ والصوتُ وحِسّاهُما

خارِجَةٌ في قرنٍ واحدْ

And the striking, the sound, and their two sensations

Multiplication and its sound and their perception

emerge at one and the same moment,

Come out together in one era

مثلُ خُطُوطٍ جئْنَ من نُقْطَةٍ

مثلُ خُطُوطٍ جئْنَ من نُقْطَةٍ

إلى محيطِ الدائرِ القاصِدْ

إلى محيطِ الدائرِ القاصِدْ
