تَهُزُّsways الصَّبَاthe east wind غُصُنَاًa branch نَاعِمَاtender
And she sways as she walks, just as
Her walk sways like the gentle branch
The east wind sways a tender branch.
Sways in the breeze so soft and mild
وَتَأْمُرُand she commands بِالأَمْرِwith the command فِيْهِin it الَّذِيwhich
كَرِهْتُI disliked فَأَرْضَىso I accept بِهِit رَاغِمَاagainst my will
And she gives an order containing what
She gives command, though I dislike
I detest, so I accept it against my will.
What's ordered, I obey and smile
وَأَشْكُوand I complain إِلَيْهَاto her فَلاَyet no مُسْعِدَاًa comforter
أُصَادِفُI find مِنْهَاfrom her وَلاَnor رَاحِمَاa merciful person
And I complain to her, yet no comforter
To her I moan, but she's no soother
Do I find in her, nor anyone merciful.
I find no sympathy nor care
مَتَىwhen يُنْصَفُis granted justice الخَصْمُthe litigant مِنْagainst ظَالِمٍan oppressor

When can the victim get justice
If his oppressor is the judge?
If his opponent is the judge there
