ألا انْعِي النّبيَّ إلى العَالَمِينَا

ألا انْعِي النّبيَّ إلى العَالَمِينَا

جَمِيعاً ولاَسِيَّما المُسْلِمينا

جَمِيعاً ولاَسِيَّما المُسْلِمينا

Lo, I announce the Prophet's death to the worlds,

Lo! Let me mourn the Prophet for all peoples

All of them, and especially the Muslims.

And especially for Muslims dutifully

ألا أنعِي النّبيَّ لأَصْحابِهِ

ألا أنعِي النّبيَّ لأَصْحابِهِ

وأصْحَابِ أصْحَابِهِ التَّابعينا

وأصْحَابِ أصْحَابِهِ التَّابعينا

Lo, I announce the Prophet's death to his companions,

Lo! Let me mourn the Prophet for his companions

And to the companions of his companions, the followers.

And the followers of his companions reverently

ألا أنعِي النّبيَّ إلى من هَدَى

ألا أنعِي النّبيَّ إلى من هَدَى

مِنَ الجِنِّ ليلةَ إذْ تَسْمَعُونا

مِنَ الجِنِّ ليلةَ إذْ تَسْمَعُونا

Lo, I announce the Prophet's death to those he guided

Lo! Let me mourn the Prophet who guided

Among the jinn, on a night when you listened,

The jinn who heard him on that fateful night keenly

لِفَقْدِ النّبيِّ إِمَامِ الهُدَى

لِفَقْدِ النّبيِّ إِمَامِ الهُدَى

وَفَقْدِ المَلاَئِكَةِ المُنزَلِينا

وَفَقْدِ المَلاَئِكَةِ المُنزَلِينا

For the loss of the Prophet, the leader of guidance,

For the loss of the Prophet, leader of guidance

And the loss of the angels sent down.

And the absence of angels who came down heavenly
