Farewell brother "Abu al-Karmeli" ...
And the earth has carried the home far away.
As the earth has become too small for settlement

لَقَدْindeed طالَhas lasted long فيin المُرِّbitterness مَرُّthe passing of الزَّمَانِtime ،
لَقَدْ طالَ في المُرِّ مَرُّ الزَّمَانِ ،

وَلا بُدَّ مِن قادِمٍ أَجْمَلِ !
Long indeed has been time’s passing in bitterness,
The bitterness of time has been long
And a more beautiful future must come!
And something better must come!

“In bliss” you began in a paradise,
"Naim", you began in a paradise
To gain through it a paradise on high!
To enjoy it, a paradise on high!

" فِلَسْطينُ " أَوْلادَها : "يا هَلِي!"
Peace be upon you, in the words with which
Peace be upon you, as
“Palestine” bade her children farewell: “O my kin!”
"Palestine" bid farewell to her children: "Oh my!"
