أَلَيسَ فَوارِسُ الحَصَباتِ مِنّا

أَلَيسَ فَوارِسُ الحَصَباتِ مِنّا

إِذا ما الحَربُ هاجَ لَها عُكوبُ

إِذا ما الحَربُ هاجَ لَها عُكوبُ

Are not the horsemen of al-Ḥaṣabāt from among us,

Are not the horsemen of the stony plains of us

when war’s swirling dust rises?

Whenever war's tumult for it rages hot
