  1. ارثى لمرضى ببرح الداء قد برموا

    يكابدون حياة كلها تعب

    I pity the sick who have grown weary of disease's torment.

    They endure a life that is all weariness.

  2. وعندما يئسوا من عود صحتهم

    الى منيتهم في جرأة وثبوا

    And when they despaired of their health returning,

    They boldly leapt toward their death.
