وَلَيسَ بِتَزويقِ اللِسانِ وَصَوغِهِ

وَلَيسَ بِتَزويقِ اللِسانِ وَصَوغِهِ

وَلكِنَّهُ قَد خالَطَ اللَحمَ وَالدَما

وَلكِنَّهُ قَد خالَطَ اللَحمَ وَالدَما

And it is not mere embellishment and shaping of the tongue;

It is not by adorning speech and versifying,

But it has indeed mingled with flesh and blood.

But it has penetrated the flesh and blood.
