ياO رَبَّLord of دَوارَDawār أَنقِذrescue أَهلَهُits people عَجَلاًswiftly
يا رَبَّ دَوارَ أَنقِذ أَهلَهُ عَجَلاً
وَاِنقُضand unravel مَرائِرَهُits tightly twisted cords مِنfrom بَعدِafter إِبرامِfirm twisting
وَاِنقُض مَرائِرَهُ مِن بَعدِ إِبرامِ
O Lord of Dawār, rescue its people swiftly;
and unravel its cords after they have been firmly twisted.
رَبِّmy Lord أَرمِهِstrike it بِخَرابٍwith ruin وَاِرمِand strike بانِيَهُits builder
رَبِّ أَرمِهِ بِخَرابٍ وَاِرمِ بانِيَهُ
بِصَولَةٍwith an onslaught مِنfrom أَبيthe father of شِبلَينِtwo lion cubs ضِرغامِa fierce lion
بِصَولَةٍ مِن أَبي شِبلَينِ ضِرغامِ
My Lord, strike it with ruin, and strike its builder
with the onslaught of a fierce lion, father of two cubs.
