إذا كنت تخشى منكراً وحسابه

إذا كنت تخشى منكراً وحسابه

وتفزع من لقيا نكير وترهب

وتفزع من لقيا نكير وترهب

If you fear Munkar and his reckoning,

If you fear the reckoning of the evil denier

And tremble at meeting Nakir and feel dread,

And dread meeting the stern questioner and are awed

فلذ بالذي لو أذنب الناس كلهم

فلذ بالذي لو أذنب الناس كلهم

ولاذوا به لم يبق في الناس مذنب

ولاذوا به لم يبق في الناس مذنب

Then seek refuge in the one: were all people to sin

Then take refuge in Him who if all of mankind sinned

And seek refuge in him, no sinner would remain among the people.

And sought refuge in Him not a sinner would remain among the people
