This world is the toilers' share.

Those through whom the affairs of humankind run.

They passed their lives, century after century, worn with toil.

They paid no heed to the harm of the reckless.

Rather, they removed oppression and groaning from it.

Those monuments are the work of those arms.

    Standing tall, defying every ingrate.

So ask the pillars and foundations about them.

For they are always the workers' best witness.

And for the world they are a legacy of beliefs.

Their lofty essence is activity without bounds.

Their sustenance is toil, pain, and sleeplessness.

Ears still yearn for them as they sing.

Indeed, it is duty—sublime, and a goal.

And for the toiler it is faith and glory.

They made the earth flourish and built it up for years.

And built fortresses atop its hills.

They revived the world with sciences and arts.

So awareness spread in freedom and frenzy.

Filling the horizons with resolve that will not yield.
