فعليكم مني السلام تحيه

This Qadariyya faction has prevailed over you.

You have prevailed over us with this destiny

So peace be upon you from me, as a greeting.

So I bid you peace as a greeting

آتيكم شوقاً فلا القاكم

آتيكم شوقاً فلا القاكم

وهم لديكم بكرةً وعشيه

وهم لديكم بكرةً وعشيه

I come to you out of longing, yet do not find you,

I come to you with yearning but cannot find you

While they are with you morning and evening.

While worries for you are with me morning and evening

هرون قائدهم وقد حفت به

هرون قائدهم وقد حفت به

أشياعه وكفى بتلك بليه

أشياعه وكفى بتلك بليه

Harun is their leader, and around him have gathered

Harun is their leader, surrounded

His partisans—and that is calamity enough.

By his followers, and that is calamity enough

لكن قائدنا الامام ورأينا

لكن قائدنا الامام ورأينا

ما قد رآه فنحن مأمونيه

ما قد رآه فنحن مأمونيه

But our leader is the Imam, and our view

But our leader is the Imam, and we have seen

Is the view he has held, for we are Ma'mun's followers.

What he has seen, so we are safe
