ولم يقدم علي خلقاً
ولمand not أقدمI give precedence عليهover him خلقاany person
ولم أقدم عليه خلقا
who preferred no other soul to me,
And he has preferred no one over me,
and for whose sake I would confront any mortal.
and I have preferred no one over him.
يملكhe owns رقيmy bondage ولستand I am not ابغيI seek
يملك رقي ولست ابغي
منfrom ملكهhis ownership ماas long as حييتI live عتقاfreedom
من ملكه ما حييت عتقا
He owns my bondage, and I do not seek
He holds me in bondage, and I do not seek
freedom from his possession for as long as I live.

لمnot أرI saw فيمنamong those whom هويتI loved خلقاًany person
لم أر فيمن هويت خلقاً
أعطفmore affectionate منهthan him ولاnor أرقاmore tender
أعطف منه ولا أرقا

more compassionate than he, nor more tender.
