أرأيتَ مملكةَ الربي

عِ يُعيدُ رونَقَها الربيع

Have you seen the kingdom of spring?

Spring restores its splendor.

ويُتَوَّجُ الراعي بها

ويُتَوَّجُ الراعي بها

ملِكاً رعيَّتُه القطيع

ملِكاً رعيَّتُه القطيع

And in it the shepherd is crowned

And the shepherd is crowned

a king whose subjects are the flock.

King of his flock

الذئبُ يَرْهبُه ويل

الذئبُ يَرْهبُه ويل

ثُم كفَّه الحمَلُ الوديع

ثُم كفَّه الحمَلُ الوديع

The wolf fears him, and

The wolf frightens him with howls

the gentle lamb kisses his hand.

Then the gentle lamb calms him

آذار في رَحْبِ الفضا

آذار في رَحْبِ الفضا

ءِ سفيرُ دولته الرفيع

ءِ سفيرُ دولته الرفيع

March, in the vast expanse of the sky,

March in the wide open space

is the exalted ambassador of his realm.

Is an ambassador of its lofty state

هاتيكَ ألوانٌ تشِع

هاتيكَ ألوانٌ تشِع

عُ وتلكَ ألحانٌ تَشيع

عُ وتلكَ ألحانٌ تَشيع

Those are colors that shine,

Those are colors that shine

and those are melodies that spread.

And those are melodies that spread

لَمنْ الربيعُ وطيبُه

لَمنْ الربيعُ وطيبُه

وهواه والزَّهَرُ البديع

وهواه والزَّهَرُ البديع

For whom are spring and its fragrance,

For whom is the spring and its fragrance

its breeze and the wondrous flowers?

And its breeze and beautiful flowers

فرحُ الربيعِ لمنْ له

فرحُ الربيعِ لمنْ له

أرضٌ وليس لمن يبيعُ

أرضٌ وليس لمن يبيعُ

Spring's joy is for whoever has

The joy of spring is for those

land—not for whoever sells it.
