Little is my provision therein and scarce is water,
and companions and devoted friends turned away.
And companions have turned away, even the loyal ones.

And on your tortured chest or mine, a fortress, sanctity and shelter.
They traversed their course over blood and thorns, and went and came over flames.

It is the pinnacle defeating death, which annihilation cannot reach.

Welcome, great love! If it endures and you remain safe, life will be sweet to me.
His nature and being are unaltered, only Eve wears something other than herself,
For it is the summit that defeats death, and annihilation cannot climb to it.
Beauty worshipped, sacred and an offering, a lord while fame is hollow.
