Except the radiance in its glittering light.

فيغيب في أحضانه ثملاً

ويعب من فيض الهوى الدفاق

So he vanishes into its arms, intoxicated,

It disappears intoxicated in its arms,

And drinks deeply from passion's gushing flood.

And overflows with the abundant, gushing love,

بانت له الدنيا على قلق

مشتاقة تهفو إلى مشتاق

The world appeared to him, restless,

Longing, she yearns toward one who longs.

Yearning, craving for the one who yearns.
