My father Zefaf of the worldly for him passed
rejoicing in marriage to the bashful, dark-eyed maidens.
Rejoicing for the wedding of the lovely Houri

He departed; grief has a home in our innermost depths,
He passed, so let there be in our hearts a homeland
and patient endurance has an uninhabited dwelling.
And let us show patience in this uninhabited grave
