مقامك يا ابن حيدرة مقام

به الأملاك تنزل ثم تصعد

به الأملاك تنزل ثم تصعد

Your shrine, O son of Haydara, is a station

Your place, O son of Haydara, is a place

Where angels descend, then ascend.

Where angels descend and then ascend

تبين به المعاجز كل يوم

تبين به المعاجز كل يوم

وضوء الشمس بادٍ ليس يجحد

وضوء الشمس بادٍ ليس يجحد

Miracles become manifest there every day,

Miracles are made clear through it every day

And the sun’s light is plain, not to be denied.

And the sun's ablution cannot be denied

عكوفاً حوله الزوار تتلو

عكوفاً حوله الزوار تتلو

وخير الذكر صل على محمد

وخير الذكر صل على محمد

Devoutly gathered around it, the visitors recite,

The visitors recite around it constantly

And the finest remembrance is: “Send blessings upon Muhammad.”

And the best remembrance is to send blessings upon Muhammad

رقدت من النعيم بخير دار

رقدت من النعيم بخير دار

وأفضل بقعةٍ وأجل مرقد

وأفضل بقعةٍ وأجل مرقد

You have come to rest in the finest abode of bliss,

I slept in the best house of bliss

And the finest spot, and the most exalted resting place.

And the finest spot and most noble tomb

تقاصده ذوو الحاجات لما

تقاصده ذوو الحاجات لما

به سمعوا فنالوا خير مقصد

به سمعوا فنالوا خير مقصد

Those with needs sought it when

Those with needs flock to it when

They heard of it, and so reached the best destination.

They hear of it, and attain their best goal

أضف عدد الأئمة ثم أرخ

أضف عدد الأئمة ثم أرخ

على أوج السماك ضريح أحمد

على أوج السماك ضريح أحمد

Add the number of the Imams, then record the date:

Add the number of imams, then inscribe

At the zenith of al-Simak stands Ahmad’s tomb.

On the highest of heavens the shrine of Ahmad
