Visit the resting place of noble Ibn Akkawi, and say:

May the steady rain of divine favor water you, O grave, before dawn.

A noble-hearted man who spent his lifetime in reverence for the All-Merciful,

and was ever renowned for doing good.

Indeed, his Lord called him to Himself, and he departed

at once, and left us sorrows and distress.

So I said, when they recorded the date of the grave in which he dwelt:

By his Lord's grace, Lutf Allah has indeed triumphed.
