هَذا مَقامُ خَليلِ اللَه شَيَّدهُ

هَذا مَقامُ خَليلِ اللَه شَيَّدهُ

لِلمَكرُماتِ بِعونِ الواحدِ الصَمَدِ

لِلمَكرُماتِ بِعونِ الواحدِ الصَمَدِ

This is the abode of God's close friend, who built it

This is the abode of God's friend which he built

For noble deeds, with the help of the One, the Eternal Refuge.

For the generous with the help of The One, The Eternal

مَغنىً تَغَنَّت بِهِ وُرقُ الهَنا وَجَرى

مَغنىً تَغَنَّت بِهِ وُرقُ الهَنا وَجَرى

فيهِ مَعينُ الصَّفا رَيّاً لِكُلِّ صَدِ

فيهِ مَعينُ الصَّفا رَيّاً لِكُلِّ صَدِ

An abode where the gray doves of bliss sang, and there flowed

A haven whereat the leaves of delight sang

Within it a spring of serenity, quenching all who thirst.

And therein flowed the spring of purity, watering all who come

فَاِدخل عَلى الرَحبِ مَغناهُ الفَسيحَ وَقُل

فَاِدخل عَلى الرَحبِ مَغناهُ الفَسيحَ وَقُل

نعمتَ بِالمنزلِ الأَهنى إِلى الأَبدِ

نعمتَ بِالمنزلِ الأَهنى إِلى الأَبدِ

So enter his spacious abode, warmly welcomed, and say:

So enter into its expansive haven and say

May you delight in the most blissful dwelling forever.

"How excellent is this sublime abode for all time!"

فَلا يَزَل بِكَ يَزهو عامِراً أَبَداً

فَلا يَزَل بِكَ يَزهو عامِراً أَبَداً

أَرِّخ وَأَنتَ مَدى الأَيّامِ في رَغدِ

أَرِّخ وَأَنتَ مَدى الأَيّامِ في رَغدِ

So may it never cease to shine with you, forever full of life.

Thus through you it will remain prospering forever

Record its date, while you live in ease all your days.

Date it, for you are as long as the days last, in comfort
