This boy has come to Khalil, and already

his radiant brow has greeted him with his beloved's face.

God has restored, through his arrival, a child who had passed away,

and brought back some of happiness's purity and sweetness.

So delight in him—I mark the date—and rejoice, for

the beloved has returned to you after his absence.
