لَقَد وافاكَ ميخائيلُ نَجلٌ

يُحاكي طَلعةَ الصُبحِ البَهِيِّ

Michael has reached you, a noble son

Emulating the radiance of the splendid dawn

بِهِ راقَ الصَفاءُ لَدَيك لَمّا

أَعادَ لَكَ اِسمهُ عَهدُ السَمِيِّ

Serenity beamed at you when

His name restored your covenant with the Sublime

فَطِب وَليَحى ابراهيمُ دَهراً

لَديك بِحفظِ مَولاهُ العليِّ

So live long and prosper, O Ibrahim

With your Lord protecting you, the Most High

يَعيشُ مُؤرِّخاً نَجلاً سَعيداً

وَتَهنأُ مِنهُ بِالثَمرِ الشَهيِّ

May he live, a happy child, making history

And may you delight in his wondrous fruit
