غَرغَورِيوسْ يَبغي بِهِ حُسنَ الرِضَى

Gregory, seeking through it gracious favor.

Gregory wished with it to gain her favor

فَاِدخُلْهُ وَاضرعْ لِلبُتولِ لِأَنَّها

فَاِدخُلْهُ وَاضرعْ لِلبُتولِ لِأَنَّها

أَرَّخَتُ شافعةً بِنا يَومَ القَضا

So enter it and humbly beseech the Virgin, for she is
