فما ازرى نكالك في مِحالك
May God curse you for the affliction your deeds bring!
God has tested you with afflictions, so I do not blame your torment in your plight
How degrading your torment is in your guile!
You appear gentle and pure of heart, yet you fell us with your plots and cunning

You deceive with gentleness and purity of heart,
You let some people taste the sweet cup, yet make most drink your bitter torment
then strike us down with your plotting and deceit.

How many brave heroes have you shackled without a fight
and make most drink the wine of your torment.

How many people you have driven far away in a wind,
Why, O traitor, O bringer of evil, is there so much scheming in your treachery
and they lost their lives along with their kingdoms.
If only your trade had brought prosperity, even in small measure from your yields

And how many a dauntless hero you have shackled,
You have made us drink the dregs of death and inhale all kinds of demise
who, without battle, found himself in your snares.

But necessity has forced me to throw myself into this destruction
so they lay engulfed by the evil of your calamity.
To be saved from the cunning of enemies, the misguided shepherds of unrighteous paths
