ولحسن زينتهِ غدا يحكي السما
From an ornate house of resplendent beauty,
From a house of beautiful decor ornate
And through the beauty of its adornment, it came to resemble the sky.
For the beauty of its adornment, it began to describe the sky
فكأنهso, as though it were الفلكthe firmament المنيرradiant وأهلهand its people
فكأنه الفلك المنير وأهله
ضاهواthey rivaled الثرياthe Pleiades والسهىand Suha والأنجماand the stars
ضاهوا الثريا والسهى والأنجما
So it was like the radiant firmament, and its people
As if it were the shining planet and its people
Rivaled the Pleiades, Suha, and the stars.
Matched the Pleiades, Canopus and the stars
