سلامٌ يعمُّ الكَونَ من عرفه الاعطر

وقد ضوَّع الأَحيا شذا مسكهِ الاذفر

A greeting pervades the universe with its sweetest fragrance;

A fragrant peace pervades the universe

and the scent of its potent musk has perfumed the living.

From his sweetest scent of musk and ambergris

وزاد على الندّ الذكي عبيرُهُ

وزاد على الندّ الذكي عبيرُهُ

وفاق على البخور والطيب والعَنبر

وفاق على البخور والطيب والعَنبر

And its aroma has surpassed fragrant nadd,

He adorned life with his gentle, perfumed breath

and outdone incense, perfume, and ambergris.

Surpassing incense, perfume, and balsam bliss
