مَنزلَ اليُمْن والرضا والسُّعودِ

مَنزلَ اليُمْن والرضا والسُّعودِ

أَنجزت فيه صادقات الوعودِ

O abode of blessing, contentment, and good fortune,

The abode of tranquility, contentment, and good fortune

There, true promises have been fulfilled.

Where I have fulfilled sincere promises

كل يوم نزاهة إن تَقَضّتْ

كل يوم نزاهة إن تَقَضّتْ

أنشدتها السُّعود باللَّهِ عُودي

أنشدتها السُّعود باللَّهِ عُودي

Each day is a delight; should it end,

Every day if a vow is fulfilled

Good fortune sings to it: 'By God, return!'

I recite it, by God renew my pledge

جمع المستعين وصف كمالٍ

جمع المستعين وصف كمالٍ

بين بأسٍ عمَّ الملوكَ وجودِ

بين بأسٍ عمَّ الملوكَ وجودِ

Al-Mustaʿin united the qualities of perfection:

Al-Mu'tasim gathered perfect traits

Might that encompassed kings, and generosity.

Between might that reached kings and generosity

فاهُنَ في غبطةٍ وعزة مُلْكٍ

فاهُنَ في غبطةٍ وعزة مُلْكٍ

أنت والله فخر هذا الوُجودِ

أنت والله فخر هذا الوُجودِ

So rejoice in bliss and the glory of kingship;

So you are in felicity and glory of a kingdom

You, by God, are the pride of this world.

By God, you are the pride of this existence
