تصلح بها كل أحوالي

Through it, all my affairs may be set right.

Will put my affairs aright,

نظفر بما لم يكن في البال

فضلا من المعطي الوالي

فضلا من المعطي الوالي

We may attain what had not been in mind,

And gain what I had not conceived

As bounty from the Bestower, the Ruler,

By grace of the Giving Lord

من معدن الجود والافضال

من معدن الجود والافضال

ليست تنال باعمالي

ليست تنال باعمالي

From the source of generosity and beneficence.

From His essence of bounty and favor -

It is not attained through my deeds.

Not won by my poor deeds.

طلبتك الله يا حنان

طلبتك الله يا حنان

كم تعطي الخلق كم نحبي

كم تعطي الخلق كم نحبي

I have sought You, God, O Compassionate One!

I implore You, O Most Merciful,

How much You give creation—how much we are favored!

How You give to creation, how generous!
