يا طالب الخير في الدينا ويوم النشور

يا طالب الخير في الدينا ويوم النشور

والأنس في ساعتك هذه ووسط القبور

والأنس في ساعتك هذه ووسط القبور

O seeker of good in this world and on the Day of Resurrection,

O seeker of goodness in religion and on the Day of Resurrection

And of solace in this hour of yours and amid the graves,

And intimacy in this hour of yours amidst the graves

وراغبا في السلامة من جميع الشرور

وراغبا في السلامة من جميع الشرور

ويا محب الهدى المفضي لشرح الصدور

ويا محب الهدى المفضي لشرح الصدور

And desiring safety from all evils,

And desiring safety from all evils

And O lover of guidance that brings expansion to the breasts,

O lover of guidance leading to the opening of hearts

والفوز بالمعرفة والسر في كل نور

والفوز بالمعرفة والسر في كل نور

وجنة الخلد تعطاها وأزواج حور

وجنة الخلد تعطاها وأزواج حور

And of attaining knowledge, and the mystery in every light,

And attaining knowledge and mystery in every light

And the eternal Garden granted to you, and fair-eyed spouses,

And the eternal Garden granted to you and maidens of Paradise

صل وسلم على الهادي النبي الشكور

صل وسلم على الهادي النبي الشكور

واظب عليها ولازمها مسا أو بكور

واظب عليها ولازمها مسا أو بكور

Invoke blessings and peace upon the Guide, the grateful Prophet.

Send blessings and peace upon the guiding Prophet, the grateful

Keep up this prayer and hold fast to it, evening or early morning,

And maintain it morning or night

والهجر والفجر والمرقد وحين تثور

والهجر والفجر والمرقد وحين تثور

ودم عليها إذا شئت الهنا والحبور

ودم عليها إذا شئت الهنا والحبور

And at midday and dawn, at bedtime and when you rise.

At dawn, dusk, sleep and when you rise

And persevere in it if you desire happiness and joy.

And persist as you wish our Lord for the rewards

فمن يصلي على المختار يلق السرور

فمن يصلي على المختار يلق السرور

والله يصلي عليه منه إلا العشور

والله يصلي عليه منه إلا العشور

For whoever invokes blessings upon the Chosen One will find joy.

For whoever sends blessings upon the Chosen will attain delight

And God bestows His blessings upon him tenfold [apparent intended sense; wording unclear].

And Allah sends blessings upon him other than a tenth

وأقرب الناس من هذا النبي الطهور

وأقرب الناس من هذا النبي الطهور

يوم القيامة فتى دائم عليها صبور

يوم القيامة فتى دائم عليها صبور

And the nearest of people to this pure Prophet

And the closest of people to this immaculate Prophet

On the Day of Resurrection is a youth constant in it and steadfast.

On the Day of Resurrection is one who always sends blessings patiently

يا رب صلى وسلم عد كل الشهور

يا رب صلى وسلم عد كل الشهور

وعد الأنفاس واللحظات طول الدهور

وعد الأنفاس واللحظات طول الدهور

O Lord, bestow blessings and peace, as many as all the months,

O Lord send blessings and peace every month

And as many as the breaths and moments throughout the ages,

And with every breath and moment throughout all time

على النبي رسول الله بدر البدور

على النبي رسول الله بدر البدور

والآل والصحب تعداد الورق والطيور

والآل والصحب تعداد الورق والطيور

Upon the Prophet, God's Messenger, the full moon of full moons,

Upon the Prophet, Messenger of God, full moon of full moons

And upon his family and companions, as numerous as the leaves and birds.

And his family and companions as numerous as leaves and birds
