وصلاة الله ربي والسلام

مستمران على خير الأنام

May the blessing of God, my Lord, and peace

be ever upon the best of creation,

وعلى الاصحاب والآل الكرام

مادنت شمس وحانت للغروب

and upon the noble companions and family,

as long as the sun draws near and is about to set,

أو طلع نجم ولاح أو بدا طيب وفاح

أو سجع طير وناح

or a star rises and shines, or fragrance emerges and wafts,

or a bird coos and laments,

أو تعبد عابد بطن الشعوب

أو طوى للبيد ذو شوق يجوب

or a worshipper worships in the depths of the ravines,

or one filled with longing journeys to the deserts, roaming.
